This week we will be showcasing some new and creative ways to wrap presents. We thought we would start the week off with a POP and share how you can make this balloon pop gift wrap. Who says opening your gift can’t be just as exciting as the actual gift itself? And what’s more fun than having to pop a balloon to get your gift? We found a giant 36″ balloon that has a large enough opening to fit a small box or card. I always keep a variety on hand for last minute gifts. Gift cards, jewelry, cash, or other small gifts will fit. Put the item in the balloon. Blow the balloon to the desired size and tie it closed. We added some ribbon with a POP ME! tag and a safety pin.

If you don’t have time to find a large balloon, you could also fit a small gift into a normal sized balloon, either with or without helium. I’m not sure this would be the best idea for small children, but I have wrapped a gift inside a large balloon for my sister’s birthday, my best friend’s bridal shower, and my cousin’s graduation gift.
Happy Planning,

This is an ADORABLE idea. Maybe tying a thread around the item would be a good way to go. That way it won’t fly away and get lost when the balloon pops. So cute and creative! Love it.

Holly – I love this! Since becoming an “adult” I give away a lot of smaller sized gifts (no large toys for my friends) haha and I can’t wait to try this for the next birthday I attend!
